Character: Bob-Ins the Scrivener

Age: Middle aged, Hair: Brown Short Graying, Beard: Full Well Groomed, Eyes: Grey, Colours: Grey
Appearance Keywords: Worried, Slow to heal, Studious, Dutiful

Bob isn’t too well known in the village, being one of the few people in town that can read and write, he is often inside doing just that. He is known to threaten to volunteer for duties that no one else wishes to do. This usually has the effect that someone else gets volunteered in his place. It seems as though he is very willing to follow through with the things he volunteers for.

He was in the same “food finding” group as Lansy before Myconids chased the group and he got separated.

After Lansy, Ard, Dee and Darg get lost in the woods, they eventually find Bob stuck under a fallen tree near a path used by Myconids. Dee and Darg escorted him back to the village. When Lansy got back to the village, he took all the papers from Rar’s room and brought them to Bob to look through.

Day of the Banquet

[6th day of the 10th moon of the year, Year unknown]

(Having convinced the king that they would get a delicacy for his feast, Born, Syl, Lansy, Ard, Dee and Darg set off to plan a way to rescue Lans and the villagers taken by Myconids. Born and Syl followed Gim to the goblin camp, while Ard, Lansy, Dee (and Darg, unknowingly) search out the Myconid nest.)

Born and Syl follow Gim’s lead

They walk swiftly and kinda funny

On the path to the goblin’s colony

Little did they know that chikichikikatchooki

Would come a-bugging (he is a bug seriously that’s what I’m saying)

On their way born was thinking

Amazing thoughts of ancient history

Surely He could win the goblin’s trust and more

By impersonating their mighty god, Morot

That was the plan and believe or not

With a bit of bark, mushrooms and glowing pollen

They took a shot and it all worked out in the end

Syl and bug dressed as mushroom slaves with a godly Born at the helm

Manage to Convince the goblin chief to raise an army

And attach the Myconids with them

They would attack at dawn and many would perish but that was okay

Because they would soon replenish

Reproduce and copulate, Born said !

Feed the weak to the strong he also said.. but that was weird…

I case you lost track since last session

The point of this Is to set up a diversion

To save our friends trapped in some mushroom prison

back to the village the gates are opened wide and the mayor’s life in jeopardy

The women left behind and all the men were taken by the self-proclaimed king

He thinks us adventurers are setting up a trap for him because he is Paranoid

He is headed to the goblin camp to find a magic sword of his ancestry

Born and Syl converse with Dal

While they are gone The mayor’s daughter

will make sure her daddy doesn’t die

Chikichikikatchooki has a great plan to use tunnels in the ground not far

Free the villagers from the king and who knows maybe get that sword

Anyway we won’t let the king and his guards stop out war

We want the goblins to still attack the Myconids at dawn

Because we spent a whole session setting that up

If he ruins it it would really be fucked up

Night before the Banquet

[5th day of the 10th moon of the year, Year unknown]

Haunted by a night of strange dreams and visions, Ard, the hunter, awakes in the middle of the night and steps out of his home for a breath of fresh air. Gim, the ancient elvish farmer, is waiting there and invites Ard into the woods. Deep in the woods, beyond many twisted and half-hidden paths a clearing is reached. in the centre of the clearing is a gnarled tree stump adorned with offerings left by passers-by. It is explained to Ard by Gim that he is part of a secret line of protectors of the forest, and his efforts are required to bring balance to the natural order and drive an ancient evil from the woods. Ard is invited to leave an offering of his own at the stump, and Ard chooses to leave his hunters' bow. Gim is pleased with the choice and brings Ard deeper into the woods to be initiated into the rites of an ancient druidic order...

The adventure-seeking village urchin Lansy walks the woods one afternoon when he spies a stranger dressed in animal hides and carrying a long sword (Toom). He climbs a tree to spy on the stranger from a distance, but is detected by the stranger's companion, a taciturn but poor-tempered and impossibly-stealthy halfling (Mouse). Lansy is threatened by the alien duo, taken prisoner, and told to escort them to the village where they are to meet a certain man. Aware of a disturbance in his woods, Ard watches the scene from a distance.

Suddenly, the three are ambushed by a mob of goblins who wear a strange armour with a hole in the centre of the breastplate. Lansy and his captors are joined by Ard and together they successfully dispatch the mob, engaging the foot-soldiers in close quarters and knocking the archers from their perches in the trees above. A few injured goblins escape into the woods. the halfling is injured in the skirmish, and Ard and Lansy take the opportunity to bind the strangers and bring them to the village for questioning...
As dusk falls, it is revealed that the strangers seek the man who calls himself king. Ard and Lansy suspect that the two are assassins, and the king is informed. He sends two of his bodyguards to interrogate the strange duo, who find a letter of marque on the stealthy halfling...
